Coconut milk
Grated coconut pressed with water. It holds more water and less fat than coconut cream. In an unshaken can the fat rises and sets on top in the refrigerator. That top layer can be used as coconut cream. A can that was shaken in delivery needs 1 to 2 hours cold to separate again. Used as a baste straight from a mixed can, it is thinner. Apply 2 or 3 thin coats instead of one.
